Hailing from the soil of Skanderborg, Denmark, Wayward Dawn play gritty, primal and utterly nasty death metal. The band drags you into a world of vicious nihilism and assaults you with grimy bass, cavernous drums and downtuned guitars played through classic Marshall amps. Venomous words of human and societal decay complete the picture with savage roars, abysmal growls and rotten shrieks.
Since their formation in October 2015, Wayward Dawn have, among other things, played at Aalborg Metal Festival, UHØRT Festival and SPOT Festival, supported bands like Nailed to Obscurity (DE) and Blood Red Throne (NO), and are booked to play Copenhell 2022 (rescheduled from 2020). With mentions in prominent magazines such as Metal Hammer and GAFFA, the band is known for its hyper-energetic live shows with constant use of the windmill headbanging technique and manic interaction with the audience.
With the two critically acclaimed albums “Soil Organic Matter” and “Haven of Lies” from 2018 and 2020 under the belt, and more than 50 gigs in Denmark and Germany, Wayward Dawn have slowly but surely crawled their way up from the underground to spread the word of their filthy death metal.
Deception is a symphonic death metal band from the west coast of Norway. Since their beginning they have been releasing several albums and toured alongside great bands like Nile, Insomnium, Blood Red Throne and Tribulation as well as one off shows with Testament, Kvelertak and at the Bloodstock Festival. After changing their name in 2018 they released ‘Epidemic’ the following year with a new sound and a new attitude. Their 2021 release ‘The Mire’ expanded on this adding symphonic elements and was very well received both nationally and internationally. They have and will always be an energetic live band ready to melt faces of those who witness their live shows.
Ruun is a Norwegian Death metal trio with its origins in Hoenefoss. They started up in 2017 and have released their debut EP `Atheos ́, and are in full prep for their first full album `Impermanence ́.
They have shared stages with bands like Endezzma, Konvent, Fleshmeadow, Golden Core and Ulvehyrde. With catchy and brutal riffs as a foundation, they will surely make you swing and sway.
A death metal basis gives room for their inspirations to shine through, showing off some of the other genres and bands that make up their imagery. Now Ruun stand ready and poised to enter new lands, and crush stages in Denmark for the first time, with their imposing style of death metal!
