Jah Farmand is a reggae activist based in Copenhagen, who has promoted reggae music in Denmark through the years. Currently he is part of the Dubfabrikken crew and Freetown sound.
We are pleased to host him at our venue Rebel Roots, where he will perform a special show: Poor man's paper.
During the show he will take us on a musical journey across Jamaica's contemporary history, since its decolonization in 1962 til now a days. Along the way we will dive into specific historical events and how music developed in interaction with society.
Due to corona restrictions, there will be just 30 tickets on sale for the show.
