Rebel Roots is back at 1000fryd after the christmas break.
Come and join us on saturday the 18th, for a night full of conscious music.
As usual, fine vinyl selection of roots and dub music, from your local selecter. Lots of new releases and repressed records ready for this dance.

To help us to nice up this dance, we got a special guest: Dj Thank you , who will keep you dancing through the night.

Stephanus Johannes, aka Dj Thank you, was born and raised in South Africa. It is therefore no surprise that he started listening reggae music at early age. In the nineties he moved to Denmark, and took part in different reggae projects in Aarhus such as Lion of Judah sound, or becoming the resident dj at club Soma. He currently produces electronic music under the name of Red Eye Jedi (Parvati records), offering live shows around the globe. However he will delight us with a selection of roots, rub-a-dub and dancehall at 1000fryd.
