Floating Burial is an art project trying to rethink what it means to be stateless, and, therefore, questioning the concepts of identity and belonging as an everyday dilemma, questioning the relation of the body and the place. Naively thinking: a stateless person doesn't belong to any geographical land, if a stateless die, where the body should be buried? The artist answers one of the basic questions by designing her own burial as an art object to be shared with other stateless people!
