Jakob Mygind og Jens Fisker har til dette års Meutiviti Festival samlet et hold af verdensklasse jazzmusikere til at akkompagnere deres musik og det bliver en spændende aften med to koncerter. Musikken der præsenteres er skrevet til lejligheden og lige præcis til denne besætning. Jakob Mygind og Jens Fisker komponerer musik til hver deres koncert og den udenlandske rytmegruppe fra jazzmetropolen Berlin, bestående af Aidan Löwe (AUS) - trommer, Malte Schiller (DE) - tenorsaxofon og Andreas Lang (DK,DE) - kontrabas.

Der er her lagt op til et ekstraordinært og udfordrende møde mellem både jazzmusikere og komponister. Til denne koncertaften er der flere generationer og spændende musikalske baggrunde i smeltediglen. Du kan med sikkerhed opleve glæde, intensitet, nærvær og betagende musik.

Malte Schiller (DE)- tenor sax
Malte Schiller is a Berlin based saxophone-player, composer, arranger and conductor. As a player, he is touring with his own Ensembles ( „Malte Schillers Red Balloon“, „Tree Folks“, „Malte Schiller Quartett“) and as a sideman („Ed Partyka Jazz Orchestra“, „HundogHybris“, „Magnetic Ghost Orchestra“, etc). As a composer, arranger and conductor, Malte Schiller worked together with the Metropole Orchestra (NL), Vince Mendoza, Jules Buckley, Kurt Elling, Gonzalo Rubalcaba, Michael Kiwanuka, HR-Bigband (Germany), Jazzkombinat, Norma Winston.
He is currently teaching arrangement and composition at the „University of the Arts“ in Bremen, Germany.

Andreas Lang (DK,DE) - kontrabas
Grew up on a small island in Denmark, called Strynø. At the age of 16 he began playing the bass. He started his studies at the conservatory "Carl Nielsen Academy of Music" in Odense under bass player Bo Stief.
Andreas Lang performed in Denmark with musicians as Anders Mogensen, Hans Ulrik, Kresten Osgood, Håvard Wiik and Mads la Cour, i.a. In 2007 he settled in Berlin and got established in the Berlin jazz scene. Here he worked with Felix Wahnschaffe, Rudi Mahall, Philipp Gropper, Oliver Steidle, Gunter Hampel, Henrik Walsdorf, Tobias Delius, John Schröder, johannes Enders, Larry Porter, Bill McHenry, Han Bennink, Ack van Royen, Tony Allen, Don Friedman, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Jeremy Pelt, Danny Grissett, Steve Nelson, Bill Steward and many others. idle, Gunter Hampel, Henrik Walsdorf, Tobias Delius, John Schröder, johannes Enders, Han bennink, Ack van royen, Tony Allen, Don Friedman, Gunter Hampel, Jeremy Pelt, Bill Steward, Danny Grissett, Steve Nelson, Larry Porter, Jorge Rossy, Walt Weiskopf, Bill McHenry, Kurt Rosenwinkel and many others
Aidan Löwe (AUS) - Trommer
Aidan Lowe is an Australian drummer based in Berlin since 2012. He has performed and recorded as a freelance musician across many genres including jazz, folk and hip hop. He is currently a member of groups including Far East Trio (SCO/DE/AU), Bitter Blond (NL/AT/DE/AU), Babylon Orchestra Berlin, Eyal Lovett Trio (Israel/DE), Antipodes (AU/NZ), and Burrows (AU). With these bands and many others he has been fortunate to tour extensively in Europe, Israel, Australia, New Zealand, and China. His most recent studio recording is the Antipodes album Good Winter, released 2018 on Rattle Records NZ.
