Reclaiming the lost memories of a walk through the city.

When you’re walking through a city, you’re seeing the city scape and relating it to the city you’re from. If it’s in another city of Denmark or another country. Memories which is still fresh will slowly decade and disappear from your mind and transported into your deep mind. If we were more than one person, then one would take in different parts of the trip, than the others. Some would take in the conversations of the walk and talk, some would take in the smells, lights, feelings, old memories relived or the city scape.

A part of my artistic approach is to scan the landscape or city scape, and translate it into a collage, a panorama; a visual depiction of a site-specific visual expression of my experience of a walk through the city: Aalborg.

MALAKIAS LIEBMANN (f. 1994) er studerende ved Kunstakademiet i Trondheim, Norge, og har i de sidste 2 år arbejdet med formatet; panoramaet, og undersøgt hvad det kan, og hvad det ikke kan. Meget snak omkring hvilken roller og hvilke elementer og tider et panorama kan snakke sig ind i, og hvilke metoder der kan bruges til forskellige visuelle udtryk.
