The Flying Eyes er fra Baltimore i det amerikanske og lægger fra land med 70'er inspireret psykedelisk rock, så man bliver skudt tilbage til The Doors og Cream, blandet med lidt Black Sabbath og mikset om med lidt nutidige toner á la Black Keys og Siena Root.

Eller som vi kan citere.. "rapturous Sabbath-stomp riffs sit alongside the Californian narcotic warmth of The Doors, as well as the musical exploration of the 13th Floor Elevators, while patches of British blues and pastoral-pop are also thrown in."

...og ikke mindst.."psychedelic blues with an intensity that could have you believing that the rainbow furred polar bear with sunglasses on really is sipping a pina colada whilst pointing a gun at you in the bathtub."

The Flying Eyes har spillet siden 2007 og spillet sammen med gode sager som Dead Meadow, The Raveonettes, The Black Angels, Dan Auerbach, Hawkwind og mange andre.

De herrer har tre fuldlængder under bæltestedet, er udgivet på Noisolution og denne fjerde Europa-tour bringer dem endelig forbi 1000Fryd.

Lazlo Lee and the Motherless Children er ligeledes fra Baltimore, første gang i Europa og supporter The Flying Eyes på deres tour. Vi snakker en omgang Jack White-inspireret garagerock duo. Eller med deres egne ord.. "We are a duo that plays big and blistering blues rock.". Bum!
