White Hills er et space-rockband fra New York, som på ypperligste vis blander psychedelic rock med en omgang stoner rock og hypnotiske grooves, som de selv beskriver som ".. Fuzzed out motorik spacerock."

White Hills har været på banen siden 2005, udgivet på Thrill Jockey og har et sandt hav af albums på bagen, og har de sidste 8 år levet ud fra parolen "..“Fuck you. We are here. We rock, therefore we are."!!

White Hills har delt scenegulv med gode navne som MONO, The Flaming Lips, Sleepy Sun, Cloudland Canyon, Mudhoney, Akron/Family and The Cult og mange, mange flere, så mon ikke rutinen er i orden.

The Hedgehogs er tilbage i huset og det perfekte mix til White Hills! Og med sig har de deres kærlighed til de farverige 60ere. Fra guitardreven tung garage-blues over 60er-poppen til smuk psychedelia. Gode vibrationer!

White Hills is an ever changing entity always pushing the envelope. Their music weaves in and out of anthemic chants, deep space bleeps and other worldly madness for a mix that proves to be intoxicating. Since the release of their debut album, the press and listeners have been praising their originality and unique brand of heavy space rock.

Because New York space rock trio White Hills are the opposite of a comet. They suck up an explosion of energy on the surface of the Earth; from the history of amplified rock music, from the weather, from spirituality, from adrenaline, from the history of synthesized electronic music, from substance use, from philosophy, from friends and enemies alike, from mother fucking electricity, and they focus it into a blinding beam of energy which they reflect back out into the void. And this beam is a message. It is a statement which reads: “Fuck you. We are here. We rock, therefore we are.”
