Punkrock uden de store svinkeaerinder og lige ud af en grusset landevej! Bandet bestaar af gode folk fra blandt andet Chickens Call og PKP, som beggetidligere har lagt 1000Fryd i grus.
Granatchok er det bedste punkrock, som 1000Fryds ovelokale kan smide paa scenegulvet, saa forvent ingen naade, naar disse herrer vil give den fransk/norske kombo kamp til stregen!

"rip it up! was formed in the summer of 2008 by four friends who wanted to play straightforward punk rock with some melodies. Each of us started a new instrument we had never played before, to try and make fresh and spontaneous punk rock... People playing in rip it up are/have been playing and touring with other bands like chicken's call, pkp, daily o.d, abnormal youth etc... We are dedicated to Do It Yourself ethics and community, and our lyrics try to reflect that and our views on what surrounds us and how we act within this world and within our communities. So far we've only recorded a demo tape/cd, and this is our first european tour with this band."
