Queer9000 is a DIY (do-it-yourself) and non-profit event.
It is a non-sexist and non-racist festival.
It is about making a space for creativity and critical thoughts. A way of challenging mainstream culture and gender stereotypes.
We welcome transsexuals, transgenders, homosexuals, bisexuals, androgynous people, butches, femmes, crossdressers, them who dont identify and you make the list longer; anyone questioning gender stereotypes and existing categories in society.
We would like to invite everyone to come and be a part of creating the festival. Anything is possible; participating is what makes things happen!
If you want to be part of creating the queer festival get in touch! The festival is open for performances, music, artwork, talks, workshops, zines, movieshowings and many other expressions and perspectives.
