The Black Heart Rebellion er beviset på at Belgien kan byde på mere end bare dårligt macho-tough-guy metallisk hardcore. Disse belgierne kan istedet servere en omgang super tight screamo hardcore i new-school stilen. Alle som havde et svagt lille punkt for hedengange Children of Fall, vil helt sikkert klappe i deres hænder denne aften! Vi snakker om ganske tydelige referencer til andre dejlige sager som Isis, Cult of Luna og Amamda Woodward. Gode, gode sager!

Rooted in the Belgian hardcore-scene, The Black Heart Rebellion has achieved to musically distinct them. Influenced by instrumental bands like Red Sparowes, Mogwai, the dark atmosphere of Cult of Luna, Isis and the likes and the screaming intensity of Amanda Woodward; a unique sound is created that will take your breath away. Their intense live-shows take you from instrumental soundscapes and sampling to ear blowing walls of sound, leaving you with nothing else than shivers running down your spine and an exhausted feeling of ecstasy.

In 2006 they released their split-album with Autumn Delay on Offerandum Records, and in 2007 they did a self-released Tour EP for their European tour. In their four-years existence, next to the tours with Jairus and Officer Jones, they also shared the stage with internationally known bands as Amen Ra, Sunn0))), La Quiete, Zann, June Paik, Daitro, Louise Cyphre, Heaven in her Arms, Jakuzi's Attempt, Rhumble in Rhodos, Daturah, Grinding Halt, With Engine Heart, Grizzly Twister, A Day in Black White, ... along many others.
